Goods receipt posting is not allowed in storage type role

Hi All,

While doing GR in EWM getting the error " Goods receipt posting is not allowed in storage type role" . Please suggest about the error . Attached is the screenshot for your reference

I also got the same error. I mistakenly assigned the GR-Zone to the final destination bin , where it should have been assigned to the 9010 storage bin.

Hi Sachin,

This error message means the destination bin of the GR warehouse task has no customized storage type role set.

Please check the below KBA and make necessary customizing.

Hi Sachin, so it is like it is GR is not allowed at some storage types. You can change GM bin in the delivery and after post GR. Since storage type role is "empty" I guess you post delivery to the normal storage type or you do not have storage type customizing in the system. In any way you need to check your goods movement bin and corresponding storage type.
