Goods receipt posting failed during initial stock upload in EWM S/4HANA 1709

Dear gurus,

I tried to perform initial stock upload via /SCWM/ISU and I am facing the problem that the MM-IM booking seems to fail (see screenshot). I am following the SAP Best Practice S/4HANA1709 Testscript Initial Stock Upload for Warehouse (1FU)

I am also receiving a document in my SAP Inbox with following info on the error:

As an info: We are speaking about embedded EWM in S/4HANA1709.

thanks for your reply, yes we scanned google for hours (that is what I usually do before asking the community).

Some doing it and some don't. We can't know what you did if you do not tell about it.

I had wished that you came back to show screenshots that you have the entries made as suggested in those posts.

Hi,

with this error message: "Could not determine ERP stock data for: Stock Type F2" you should be able to find something.

And if not: go through the best practice guide for the EWM integration. There is something missing for the storage location / availability group / location - independent stock type / stock type setting.

We solved the issue:

There was a missing entry in the "Customizing Mapping Table for ERP Plant Storage Location" in the EWM customizing. Basically the linkage between the specific EWM Stock Type F2 and an IM Storage Location was not set in the system.
