GI queue failure with error “Item XX: Only 0 ST from material XXX are available Msg no. SR053”

Hi Gurus,

I am executing EWM triggered Opp Cross docking for a batch manged item in S4 HANA 1910 Embedded EWM system.

Cross docking was executed as required based on the batch selection criteria in the ODO. But when GI is triggered for the ODO, DLWS* queue fails with error message “Item 000010: Only 0 ST from material XXX are available Message no. SR053”.

The reason for this is missing storage location in queue internal structure "ITEM_DATA_SPL"

I was able to process the failed queue after edit the queue content with a proper storage location.

Also, this issue is not observed for any regular GI of a ODO, i mean posting GI of Batch managed material w/o cross docking.

Is there any setting that i need to look into or any OSS note regarding this issue. Please advice and help me.

Hi Alex,

all the settings are in place as per the note, even then i am seeing this issue.

Note: If the delivery is not Cross docked, then this issue is not observed.

Also few more observations on the same issue.

First message is failing and when i looked at s.loc it is missing there..but the immediate message at 12:58:52 was also created from the same GI..but this has the S.loc details.

Just to check the behavior further, i did the GI reversal which created the message at 13:00:32..and did a fresh GI which created message at 13:00:50

i am not able to understand why system didn't create two messages, during GI for the 2nd time.
