Getting the following error in VL01N: Sales area #### ## ## is not defined

Hello Community,

We are trying to create a delivery with a material against a sales order or without reference to a sales order, but the error says that the sales area #### ## ## is not defined, the devision is maintained in the material master. Message number is VL316. Enhancement package is already implemented, not able to figure out the problem, can someone please help.

and subsequently, indicated that by implementing the note suggested, your problem is solved and this is surprising me. The SAP note relates to a delivery when it is created directly without any reference whereas, you were creating delivery with reference to a sales order. Can you please confirm on this ?
