Function C_VRSIOD - Delete version authorization object C_APO_FUN

Hello All!

Does function C_VRSIOD - "Delete version" combined with authorization object C_APO_FUN will only restrict /SAPAPO/TSCOPY with no impact in other tcodes?

Do you know if function C_VRSIOD - Delete version is also used by other SAP transactions in APO?

Hello,

C_APO_FUN will be used in demand planning and function C_VRSIOD will come in picture only in case of version deletion.

When you delete a planning version (transaction /SAPAPO/TSCOPY), the authorization object C_APO_FUN is used with function C_VRSIOD.

Hello

Yes we read sap note 660761. Our security team created a test user and assigned it only on role created specifically with authorization object C_APO_FUN with function C_VRSIOD, although the delete planning version ratio button is still enable and when I tested it again deleted the data of the version.

We have two questions:

1) Isn´t supposed this should disable the delete planning version radio button?

2) Function C_VRSIOD - Delete version is also used by other SAP transactions in APO?

Hello,

It will not disable the delete planning version radio button, however it restrict user to execute this functionality by authorization.

And it will be applicable for report /SAPAPO/RTSCOPY and transaction /SAPAPO/TSCOPY.
