FSCM in SAP S/4 Hana Sales 1709

Hi Experts,

I'm trying to configure FSCM in HANA 1709 and want to know whether we need to configure web service even for communicating with SD or it is only required if there is 3rd party system communication with SAP.

I read the NOTE 2315269 after I got the below error when creating the sales order.

Error when calling Credit Management: Technical Error Message no. UKM_PI008

Dear colleagues, If you still have this problem, check whether the credit control area has been assigned to the credit segment. The message is also the same for the lack of this setting.

This error because of the following reason.

either authorization issue or missing step in web services configuration. Have a talk with your basis team.

You need to complete the setup of the SRT runtime by running tr SRT_ADMIN > Run technical setup first in client 000 then in production client as well, where the issue is coming. Have a look at OSS note 2347013. Take the help of Basis team

Hello Hussain,

With reference to the error class (UKM_PI) of the error message (UKM_PI 008) highlighted by you.

It seems like it related to PI interface.

Thanks for the reply Jyoti Prakash.

We do not have any PI settings configured. The only thing that is activated is the BADI related to FSCM. Why is the PI interface error appearing for the normal FSCM integration for Hana Sales ?

As I can't see your system, with that, can only assume that probably something configured unknowingly.

Check in SM59, where you see an RFC connection for an external system for FSCM.
If yes, then get that sort out.

Or else use the error message to look for SAP Notes around this issue.
