Freight unit recreation after batch picking

Hello,

we are faced to problem with cancelation and recreation of Freight unit after picking a material batch in warehouse. System behaves as follows:

1, We create the outbound delivery without a batch defined

2, Freight unit is created in TM and oudbound delivery order created in EWM

3, The material is picked in EWM and the batch is assigned

4, The system cancels the existing Freight unit and creates the new FU (even if original one was planned in a Freight order).

Would you advice, how to set up in order just to update the batch in original FU and to prevent creation of the new one?

Hi,

I have been struggling with similar issue some time ago, which was finally solved by SAP Note 2854634.

I would suggest to check, if it is relevant for your S4 release.

Generally, there are lots of corrections for TM area, so SAP Support Portal is the first place I usually visit.

Hello Marcin,

at the end the issue was solved during instalation of batch of notes when fixing another problem. So I am not sure, if it was the one you described, nevertheless the trouble has been fixed
