Fourkites Integration to TM

Hi TM Experts ,

If you have any experience towards integrating fourkites to SAP TM then please share your thoughts . I have couple of question .

1) What criteria should be considered or what should be deciding factor to Integrate fourkites to TM for a company .

2) How it should be Integrated to TM ..Should it be through EDI which will be mapped to PROXY/Web service in TM . Which PROXY should be considered .

I've seen at least one customer do this. It takes quite a lot of custom code, but it is possible.
