Forecast release to excel sheet instead of SNP or ECC

Hi Experts,

In one of our requirement , we have to release forecast from APO DP to Excel sheet for new business. This excel sheet forecast will again get uploaded manually to ECC later on. Our current system process is - We release forecast from DP to SNP through Transfer profile.

How to download forecast in the excel sheet at required Product Location.

Prasad,

Pull the data from PA to cube. If you are using BeX then create a simple query to pull the data from this cube. You can have different filters, exceptions etc. in the query. The whole process could be automated with process chain. You can circulate this Excel as required.

If it is DP then the forecast can be extracted from DP Planning Area to an Infocube. From the Infocube you can generate flat files easily using Infospokes (Open Hub Service).

These flat files can then be FTPed from the APO Application Server to your third party system for usage. These files would be in the excel format.

As you have SNP, then you can also think about using /sapapo/bp1 to transfer the order series data. You can also try BAPI BAPI_PBSRVAPS_GETDETAIL2.
