Forecast Consumption against Local Sales Orders in SAP APO

I am trying to test Forecast consumption against sales orders created locally in APO using CTMTESTDATACREATE.

Settings are maintained in the product master for forward / backward consumption

Standard SNP Macro step is in place.

But forecast consumption is not happening. The total demand is simply a sum of Forecast and Sales order and Distribution Demand.

THERE IS NO CONNECTED SAP ERP system. There is no integration with any ERP system.

Often the StrategyGroup in the material master in APO is missing (/SAPAPO/MAT1 -> tab "demand" -> sub tab Requriement Strategy --> field "proposed strategy". If this is missing the system cannot determine segments to apply th fcst consumptions. Try strategy 20 planning with final assembly (which is mapped from ERP StrategyGroup =40).
