hello ewm community,
the setup is done with ext. no range and sometimes it happens during GR processing starting in ewm (embedded s4) fiori app that more than one PO is handled. Then sap e.g. wants to replicate several delivery headers and this is not possible. But warhouse staff in the meantime seeds physically the stock in gr area and starts the putaway process. Therefore quant connection to this referens inbound delivery in ewm is gone with the effect that you cannot eaaily cancel the inbound delivery order any more.
Questions:
- is this problem gone with internal number ranges?
- if sticking to external no ranges (because it's unclear which side effect may occur in a system that was setup initially from somebody else), how can this be avoided in future? how to avoid to be able to handle multiple po's in parallel in ewm fiori?
- most important: if this happens from time to time: how can this be canceled in a proper way?
