Fixing vehicle resource in the transportation lane

How can I set-up the following in S/4 HANA TM : I need to check if the resource X can be fixed on the particular lane so that during Optimizer run the system will pick resource X only.

This is a common requirement across the industry in logistics and it can be achieved in the following way:

1. Using Business Rules - Create an incompatibility between the FU and Vehicle Resource. You can data crawl to read the source and destination of the freight unit and use that to define the restriction for that OD pair with any other vehicle resource other than the one you desire. This method does not impact your transportation network and would enable business to maintain this easily.
