Finite Heuristic - Cost considerations

Hello colleagues,

It is not clear to me whether the Finite Heuristic takes into account transport, production, and external receipt cost rates, as in the SAP Help can find both that it considers and does not.

Hi rai.serrano,

Finite heuristic doesn't respect fixed cost parameters like 'Fixed Production Cost' however it does consider variable cost parameters like ' Production Cost Rate'

Fixed costs are the cost which are independent on the receipt quantity while Variable cost will be calculated based on the receipt quantity. There are separate standard key figures to set these costs (See attachment).

Yes, this answers my question. Thank you!

I just think is not clear in SAP Help since in the Out of scope session for Finite Heuristic you can find production, transportation and procurement cost rates as if if was out of scope, as you can see in the screenshot.
