Filter option using IO network ID

Hello Experts,

My intention is to run IO jobs for few selected finished products. These products share the same IO network ID.So the filter is first applied on the IO network ID and also on selected materials(2 nd level filter) for which i would like to have my IO job run.But unfortunately the filter on the selected material numbers are not respected and all the material numbers under the IO network ID is planned.Does the IO run respect the attribute filters ?

The global configuration FORCE_PLANNING_VIEW_FILTER is set to None

Also when IO run is made the planning unit is filtered to the plant relevant subnetwork ID.

Note :Once the IO is successfully run,I could see that the information of "Planning filter applied for the job" as information but actually there had been no filtering at the time of optimization run.

Kindly give your expert comments on the same.

BR,

Praveen

Hi Praveen,

I am not sure if the IO operator when run in batch mode fully considers the attribute filter on this regard, but certainly the global configuration FORCE_PLANNING_VIEW_FILTER does not play any role on this behavior, it just controls if a planner is allowed or not to load a template/favorite without applying any filtering.

Best,

Ivan
