Ext.Doc Number field doesnt get populated

Ext Doc Number field in Process product inspection document in EWM doesn't get populated. Inspection lot got created in QM and inspection was set up for the Product.

Inspection document number is populated. Not sure if it is a field control issue.

Please advise.

Dear Subha,

Ext Doc Number is updated from ERP/ECC lot no with the help of BADI . Please check the below docs for BADI.

Enh. Spot- QPLEXT_COMM_TEC in ECC SAP note 1278425.

QIE_COMMUNICATION in EWM

Please try to implement two BADIS with sample code and let us know if you have further queries .
