For revenue conversion IBP is using current exchange rate. How to make system to use exchange rate at the time of sale. Basically when they check previous months revenue in different different currencies, they want system to use point of date exchange rate. How to resolve this issue? Any help is appreciated.

Hi Jeff,
1) You need to use only one exchange rate KF at Currency from- currency To level. This will store multiple exchange rate conversions and used in all revenue key figures(refer SAPIBP1 standard model).
2) The template will have drop down option to select from multiple currency.
You may add time dimension in exchange rate planning level in case you want to make it time dependent.
Thanks,
Rohit

Thanks Neeraj for your response. can you clarify these questions.
1.We deal multiple currencies, you recommend to load each conversion factor in individual KF? Then calculate revenue in different currencies in different KF?.
2. But, in template user loose the ability to flip between multiple currencies I right?.
Any response is appreciated.
thx

Hi Jeff,
Please try using exchange rate as only KF rather than attribute as KF. I mean do not maintain any value in concerned MDT. Load exchange rates from current period onwards without removing the ones in the past. Alternately you can still use attribute as KF & ensure that exchange rate entered in attribute is copied from current period onwards without touching previous exchange rates.
Thus previous month's revenue can be checked using previous exchange rate.
Hope this helps.

Neeraj
