Exception /SCWM/CX_MD_INTERNAL_ERROR ocurred in SCM

Dears

In SCM APO system, a DTP data transfer process from a planning area to a DataStore Object DSO shows error message:

Exception /SCWM/CX_MD_INTERFACE occurred RSTRAN 321

And it cancels without loading the data into the DSO. I have tested changing the parameters of the DTP but error persist.

Your ideas and recommendations are welcome.

Hi,

If you're using ODP to extract data from APO to BW directly, please check the ODQR* job in APO system. Probably you'll see more details not only "Exception /SCWM/CX_MD_INTERFACE". If yes, it's recommended open a SAP case under SCM-EWM-RF to check the exception in /SCWM/* methods/ functions...

Thank you Maggie, noted for the next time. Indeed this time it was a data error. I checked the detail o the error message, and I realized it mentioned a line and record number where appear a material number, I tested excluding it from the data source infopackage variant, and the error disappeared. Then I got confirmation from the business that this material number is not being planned anymore. Problem fixed. Thanks again for answering.
