From time to time when users of our IBP system open a planning view favorite excel will pop up with the following information dialog which indicates Excel needed to repair the spreadsheet. This only occurs on occasion. Typically the user can close the planning view and reopen the favorite without Excel presenting the dialog. As this is a random occurance, it makes recreating the issue consistently impossible.
This started occuring since the update of our add-on to version 4.0.1.4, but, I am not sure if that is related. Users are using excel 2010 on 64bit windows 7 operating system.
Have any others experienced this issue? If so, is there a resolution to the error?
Thanks for your help!
Dustin

Hi Guys,
You are right we had to create the favorites as well after upgrades. But You guys have a global template right, which should work fine I guess.

Hi Dustin,
I am also having issues with Excel needing to repair a template/favorite, and then not being able to save/update after it has been corrupted. From your screenshot above, we also received an error "Drawing from /xl/drawings/drawing5.xml part (Drawing Shape)." When we try to overwrite the spreadsheet after it has been repaired, it gives an error "Exception from HRESULT:0x800A03EC"
I am currently using Excel 2010(32 bit) on 64bit Windows 7, with the 4.0.1.1 add-in.
I think there is no other solution at the moment other than recreating the templates/favorites. Hopefully SAP can find a fix for this issue.
Thanks,
Louis
