EWM Transfer posting delivery- Default Supplier and Ship to party at Plant level

Dear Experts,

Our EWM warehouse (WH01) was mapped to multiple plant codes (1000, 2000 & 3000). I'm creating the transfer posting from Non-WM managed SLOC(0001) to WM managed SLOC(0002) with in a same plant (1000).

When I try to do transfer posting in MIGO, system is throwing an error "No vendor defined in Table T321 for ref. movement type 312".

I'm aware that if we maintain supplier and ship-to-party in 'Default values for WM' (Delivery-relevant data for Whse no)' we can fix this error, but I want to assign this to plant level instead of warehouse level since our warehouse is mapped to multiple plant codes.

We are also facing same challenge as one warehouse is assigned to multiple plants. Please update if you get any solution.

Hi Satheesh,

In this case, you can create different ERP warehouse numbers for each plant and these ERP warehouse numbers can be assigned to same EWM warehouse number.

When you create transfer posting delivery, plant specific ship to party and supplier will be considered in the delivery.

Thanks for your reply. I guess your solution will work. But is there is any other way of fix this problem. We already configured all our solution with single ERP warehouses code (10+) with multiple plant code mapping.

Hi Satheesh,

I don't think we have any other option, we can wait for other experts to reply. But i would suggest to go with my solution. Fixing the problem before making the system live is always better than fixing it later 🙂
