Hi,

I am new in EWM and experienced in SAP TM.

a)As of now we have installed TM,EWM in the same server and hence was wondering to connect between this 2 system , do we still require RFC.

b) How will CIFing work across these 2 system in same client.

c)Thirdly  in the server we dont have the std integration content available for TM-EWM i.e warehouse 0001 is missing. In this case to set up std scenario can the experts share the config guide

Hi,

please check the content on the service market place, there are several guides for processes and guides how to set-up.

the link above is referencing the guide "Integration of Outbound Warehousing & configuration".

Hope this helps.

But I am not sure how CIFing will work across the 2 system when they are in same client.

Also can you confirm if we require RFC in same system

CIF is for distribution of master data from ECC towards SCM, there is no master data to transfer between TM <> EWM, TM and EWM are using partly the same master data like BP, location, product master.

The integration between TM <> EWM (=transfer of the documents) is described in the mentioned Integration guides.

Hi,

I am little confused now. This config guide provides details about how SAP EWM in SAP ERP system needs to be integrated with SAP TM.

But my landscape is that SAP EWM has already been installed in same client as SAP TM. Hence in that case I feel there is no need to set up BSG and separate logical and RFC set up.Is my understanding correct?

Hi,

in chapter 5.2 'Defining the logical system and business system for SAP TM in SAP EWM' of the above mentioned guide there is a note giving the answer to your question.'If SAP EWM and SAP TM are installed on the same system and use the same client you do not have to do anything here'.

Please read the guide carefully, usually there are notes explaining what needs to be done depending on the deployment option you are using.

Hi,

Thx.

Now after I have created warehouse 001  in ERP and this warehouse No 001 has been assigned to EWM No 001 in ERP under the config node -Integration with other SAP components.

Now my question is how do I send the warehouse No 001 to EWM client installed in TM. Do I maintain the config manually in EWM client  or is there any way I can transport the data directly from ERP to EWM client.
