Dear Connections:
We are loading stocks with HU's in a decentralized EWM system and we have a requirement to print the labels of all the migrated HU's in a mass way. I see there HU Print options from PACK and MON are taking me to print individual HU's and no way of mass printing all selected HU's.
If anyone of you come across this situation, would be great of putting your thoughts here.
Hi,
Short instruction:
Hope this helps.

Hey Jan,
Thanks a lot for the response.
Indeed this helps and I'm testing it as well. Will come back if I have anymore questions (Will reward here accordingly).
Nevertheless, we got a proposal now to see if we can generate HU labels based on load file data before loading into SAP. This is because, stock teams will need to spend efforts to prepare load file for HU stock details by going to each individual pallet. So, if there is a mechanism to generate HU labels based on load file (of course, we give the allowed HU number range to stock teams for pre-allocation), they can print and paste the labels for each pallet at same time which would reduce redundant work afterwards to get back again to each pallet and past labels after stock is loaded and its hard to identify pallet specific labels once we print all labels in bulk.
So, trying to explore if there are ways to do this outside SAP. Would appreciate if anyone has any thoughts around this.
Hey Veera,
in general you would get the stocks i.e. storage bins + material + quantity (+batch+serial number etc.) allocation from the old system.
Then you can create a handling unit per material/(batch)/storage bin combination with the stock upload. If you have also the HU information from the old system, you can of course then create the HUs for it.
I don't know how big your HU labels are. But you could also print on the migration labels, the storage bins where the HUs are located and the product. This would make it easier to assign the labels for mass printing and assign it physically to the stock.
Alternatively you could define an external HU number range and print the HU labels outside SAP, e.g. with Excel etc..
Greetings
Jan
