EWM -Staging is not working

I have set up EWM PP Integration functionality and carried out below steps

1) Created Production Order and performed material staging

2) PMR created and appeared in EWM monitor.

3) When I executed /scwm/stage and got the error that source bin cannot be determined.

Stock removal indicator is already set in the component which directs to pull component from storage type 0010 which is having sufficient stock for staging.

Min. & Replenishment qty maintained for the bin in PSA. Bin is created in system.

Any idea what could be the issue.

Hi All,

I have created WPT for staging and confirmed the WPT.

Now, I am trying to post consumption via RF but when I enter stock type as "F2" , I am getting error as "E: Stock type is invalid"

Any idea?

Hi All,

Thanks for all the help.

Availibility group 003 mapping was not present in the config for production line sloc .

Setting maintained and then staging worked by creation of WT.

I will proceed further with consumption.

Can you check these two things?

1 - Determine Storage Type Search Sequence for Stock Removal

2 - Do you have free stock at corresponding bin?

Please check screenshot attached which shows assignment of storage type search seq. to WPT.

There are plenty of stock in storage type 0010 , FIFO strategy is already assigned to SMFG which will pick bin as per FIFO.assign-p220-to-smfg.png

Check the bin and the unit mesure for the product.

Configuration seems okay...Please take the help from technical consultant and ask him to debug the program for you...I have already share the program detail in earlier thread

Application log is active for subobject "WHS_TASK" with level "Additional Information".

Attached are the screenshot of WPT determination and WPT assignment to PSA/Bin along with qty.

Can you run the transaction with "SHOW LOG" checked and let us know what is the screen appear when you try to stage

System is unable to find the source bin , as per the screen share by you earlier WPT P220 is assigned to that. Can I request you to share the removal strategy (Detail of Storage type search for WPT P220)

Or

Ask your development team to help you by debugging the below mentioned steps and let u know what is missing during search

Log says :

System could not determine source storage bin

I have configured strategy SMFG and assigned storage type 0010 to it.

This storage type has bins which contain sufficient stock.

Determination of WPT "P220" is correctly maintained in WPT determination table.

Hi,

that - is not the log. That is just the final message. And whatever you have configured - something must be wrong, yes? 😉

When you create the WTs for the PMA you probably have to activate the log for warehouse tasks and look it up in SLG1 for the complete text.

Hm,

indeed, the log does not really show much at all... Could you check in the activation of the log, what level is active? That it really shows everything. If not, I guess you need to show more of your settings.

"Determination of WPT "P220" is correctly maintained in WPT determination table." The WPT is assigned usually in the PSA/Bin assignment, where you also maintain the quantities.
