EWM - Single order staging release HU directly on PSA

Hi gurus,

I'm approaching EWM Advanced Production Integration Process.

My client has a scenario where they use single order staging with batch determined in the process order.

In SAP Help they say “for products staged using the single-order staging method, you must release the reference document to clear the reference in the stock. If you do not release the reference document, the stock can never be used for another PMR.”

My questions are:

• 1.How do you release this stock (GUI transaction? Fiori app?)

• 2.In a packed material scenario, after you partially consumed a staged HU on the PSA for a process order, is it possible to release this HU and assign it to another process order without moving it back from the PSA to the warehouse?

Hi Pantaleo,

Go to SAP menu-> Favourite -> Add other Object, insert Transaction,then enter /SCWM/MFG_STAGING , select HTTPS.

enter your warehouse, and search for Manufacturing order and click on create Warehouse Task

Stock release Can be done in /scwm/mon.

With Stage transaction you cannot specify exact stock to pick, so you cannot force system to use your HU. Is stock in PSA considered or not depends on system settings.

The stock is released using the "Clear Production Supply Area" transaction (it's not a GUI transaction but a Web Dynpro). Once the stock is released, it can be consumed against another manufacturing order without needing to transfer it out of and back in the PSA.
