EWM Serial Number Storage Location Transfer

Dear Experts,

Material has serial number and batch managed on SAP ERP system.

Serial number is activated ERP and EWM.

On warehouse structure; 2 storage locations are assigned to 1 EWM warehouse number.

Each storage type assign to each storage location.

When I transfer from 1 storage type to other, EWM can perform stock transfer.

However, ERP side can not determine stock serial number so stuck on queue.

S4/Hana 1809 Embedded EWM.

"Serial number is activated ERP and EWM."

What means "activated"? What serial number requirement (A, B, C) has the EWM serial number profile? I suppose it is not C. In this case you have no SN information on bin level. That means that when you move material from one bin to another and through this also a posting change is triggered, no serial number is known.

Thanks for your advice, you are right. I change serial number requirement as C . Now, it is working properly.
