EWM RF Framework in S4 HANA Cloud

Hello All,

I am tying to understand the capability that the S4 HANA Cloud embedded EWM solution has in terms of RF and mobility. If I understand correctly, the ITS mobile is not a go to solution for S4 Cloud EWM and its has to be tackled differently. Does that mean that RF framework will not at all be used in S4 Cloud and it has to be fully customized mobile solution? Could you please shed some light on this and the approach that needs to be taken to allow RF mobility in S4 EWM Cloud?

Hi Cristiano,

I am referring to the S4 HANA Embedded EWM in Cloud and S4 HANA connected to Decentral EWM in S4 HANA Cloud solution. And from what I understand from the SAP blog (below) is that the code changes are not possible in S4 Cloud. And every project, there is some change required to the RF screens, logic etc. Hence we have to go a different route. Is my understanding correct or am i missing something here? Thanks once again.

Hi Prashant,

Why can't you use ITSmobile? As long as in your S/4 system you have an EWM transaction code that you want to use in RF devices, then you should be able to generate the templates and access them as in any other system. The infrastructure is the same as in any other system.
