EWM -Receipt of Handling units

Hi all,

in our warehouse we are receiving handling unit with sscc barcode label (label content: material no., quantity, batch, sscc no.). Today the goods receipt is done via transaction /scwm/grpe and /scwm/prdi. Later we create wh task and do the putaway.

In future we would like to do the goods receipt via that labels mentioned above we are just receiving from our suppliers. As the labels are following the GS1-standard I would like to know if somebody is able to tell me how to maintain customizing "maintain barcode specification"? Chapter: Scanning HUs that do not exist in the system

Not all of our suppliers are able to send theese label information neither DESADV. Means we need to be able to follow the current process as discribed and would like to do the RF-process in addition.

to EAN128 for testing.

Application Identifier(AI)-00

-> When you scan the SSCC (HU code in SAP), system decodes(above RF path),split as 3...7369 as HU.

Example: Hus are created via ASN Process.

-> If Hu is not present in the system, then create HU by the same HU with pack material while scanning so HU can create and store in the system.

Similar, scan quantity barcode (AI-37) and batch/lot (AI-10) fields...

Note: Number range must maintain in SSCC and assign to Pack Material Type (which assign in Pack material) in the previous config. Example: in your case you might maintain external range and ILN as 34048333...

Technically: Bar code functionality works with below FMs in RF.

Enhancement can be possible via BADI.

thanks for answering my question but for me is still unclear how the process should work. What scanner menu I have to use and how am I able to scan that three barcodes in one dialogue?

Do you have done this before or can you tell an example?
