Dear Gurus,
I have two questions on my scenarios, working with S/4 and Distributed EWM
1) Pack spec , when delivery comes to EWM from S/4 , system is not auto packing , when tried with auto pack button in PACK , it is packing as expected. why system is not auto packing when PRDI is created with external or EGR?
2) Putaway strategy based on Quantity classification
I have a delivery qty over pallet ( pallet + partials)
ex: Item 1= >105CV (100 CV = 1 Pal as per pack spec and AUOM = 1 PAL = 100CV), System packed in to two HU
HU1= 100CV
HU 2 = 5CV and I have two st type one pallet st type with Qty classification = 4 maintained in general and putaway
and case st type with 2 and have specific storage search sequence in 1st Pallet and 2nd Case st type.
when I tried to putaway to , system creating both WTs to Pallet st type .
Any Help in this regards is appreciated
Request clarification before answering.
Thank you Chris
I am able to resolve the point 1, it worked well
Regarding the point 2 , I tried with master data attributes specifying PAL as SUOM and CV as SUOM and both and Individually, no luck
Let me put my steps what i am doing
* Defined st types , one with Qty classification 4 and another one with 2
St type with 4 , behaviour = open , Putaway rules = 5 , Qty and ptwy classification 4 (pallet)
St type with 2, behaviour = open, putaway rules = 2 , qty and ptwy classification = 2( case)
Ptwy strategies , Specify Storage Search sequence = PUTW with both the st types included.
My Delivery is in Cases ( no AUOM as PAL ) , i tried packing one HU with 1PAL and 5 CV in to another HU, still not working
Am i missing any thing ?

Hi Raj,
1) Please check button for autopack at: EWM --> GR process --> Inbound delivery --> Define document types for inbound deliveries.
2) Did you mark the qty classification attributes as stock specific? Unit of measure attributes in master data --> product?
Maybe this helps you out?
Regards, Christian
