EWM - QM-QIE integration - MIGO inspection lot issue

Hi EWM Expert,

Need a clarification on QM-QIE integration. We received the stock from external vendor and posted UD and stock now in unrestricted.

Issue: Manual inspection lot trigger

Requirement: Business will use MIGO transaction for the stock type change (Unrestricted to Quality) and also inspection lot creation. (Same will work for non EWM location based on the inspection type from material master)

In our system, all the trigger for QM process should come from ECC system and not in EWM system. Due to this we cannot use Monitor to trigger the manual inspection lot.

When we use MIGO transaction with 322 mvt type, it trigger the posting change delivery but the inspection document trigger will not happen.

Is there any standard way to fulfil the business requirement.

No, because this is not how it works.

Yes, that might work for a non-EWM warehouse location, but not with EWM.

But it is not working this way. Everything is triggered from EWM in this case.

Yes, start the QM process from EWM.
