Hi Experts,

I have a question abut putaway strategy.

When i am placing the stock, the warehouse task is created but it is taking into the clarification zone because the weight of the quantity is more than the max weight of the BIN. Why this is not taking into the next BIN meaning placing partial in one and then in the next.

Please note that i am receiving the stock in AUOM i.e. as CAR.

Also i need how to activate the WT log from Monitor. I am able to see the WO log.

Please help.

Hi Azam,

You cannot see the log of WT creation in the monitor, but in the transaction you use to create putaway WT. This is most likely /SCWM/TODLV_I, but could also be /SCWM/ADHU if you are putting away HUs after deconsolidation; I don't know your processes.

Assuming you use /SCWM/TODLV, click on "Create WT" (you don't need to save) and immediately after click on "Message log".

If you are creating WTs using an RF transaction or a custom transaction that does not allow displaying the log, you can always find the log afterwards with SLG1.

HI,

you can activate WO log with transaction /SCWM/ACTLOG and then use subobject WHOLOG.

Are you allowed to split the pallet received to suit the storage bin capacity. Please check there is an indicator "Split during Putaway" in the storage type configuration. If you maintain that, you get what you are looking for.
