Hello, I have a business scenario for a GR against a PO. The product is batch managed and also serialized. The warehouse clerk unloads the goods and put the product into a staging area. It takes a couple hours to them to get the right batch information before post the GR. Is there a way to identify the stock "unloaded" in EWM before the GR?
Can I do a putaway without the batch information to see the stock in the system?
Thanks,

Hi,
if a product is batch-managed - you have to have a batch (any batch) assigned before GR (and only then you have stock).
In EWM the first confirmation of a WT for stock posts GR, there is no setting for this. The only thing you can influence is the posting back to ERP, but there is nothing you can do in EWM to avoid this.
So the only standard solution is to assign a batch with the required minimum information. And adept the batch or batch details later.

All the above is no official SAP statement.

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!
