EWM - Provisional serial numbers

For example... A provisional serial number looks like this: $20210802113103386430000000001

Are there a "BAdI" we can use to change the appearance of these provisional serial numbers?

Or better... Choose them from a table, for example?

Could you please tell me the configuration done so that the temporary serial number is created when the goods are received?

I have done the necessary configuration, but the system did not generate temporary serial numbers, so the holding file is in error 😞

Because S/4 does not support items with more than 1000 ST with serial numbers coming from ERP: when replicating the delivery in EWM, these are "lost"

Hi Xavier, provisional number is generated as a placeholder and should be replaced by the real one. It is not clear on which step and for which purpose you would like to change provisional SNs.
