EWM - Production Supply 2 EWM storage location in same WH

Hi All,

I am using the PP-Integration for EWM for a supply. I got two different ewm managed storage location (same WH. 1. ZEW2 = 002 and EW10 = 003).

I am doing the MF60 and I get an Outbound delivery Order. Picking and GI are working, but the material document show me a transfer from Storage location EW10 to EW10 with movement type 313.

After the GI the system create a delivery in EWM.

Here my questions:

Why I am getting an outbound delivery instead of a transfer change? I thought this scenario is with transfer changes.

If the delivery should be right, why I do get a delivery instead of a inbound delivery, after the GI of the delivery outbound order.

Thanks.

Regards

Daniel

Hello Daniel,

In case of using 2 EWM storage location for release order parts, please check and validate the below configuration.

The plant and storage location in question needs to have the delivery type DOG and movement type 411.

313 and 315 movement types are used in 2 step stock transfer when we have 2 separate Warehouses. In you case, you just have 2 storage location under 1 EWM warehouse, so use 411 movement type as below.

Note: In the SAP S/4HANA system, a posting change from the issuing storage location to the receiving storage location takes place with reference to the SAP S/4HANA outbound delivery

Also, check the below settings in your system.

Hi Daniel,

Please check BC Sets for configuration.

I've already loaded the set. I just checked it again, but have no differences in customizing.

"One addtional question: Is it also possible to use document type OPS with code initiator PSD? this is the setting to my scenario described above."

That would be for the scenario that you have two different storage locations which are NOT connected to the same warehouse number.

"I think it is the code initiator. When I add the entry DOG / PSD ==> OPS I get an Outboud delivery order with OPS. Whey I delete it again and maintain DOG/PSP ==> TPS I get an outbound delivery with document type OUTB, so it takes the entry DOG/BLANK ==> OUTB."

The correct code should be PSP. If the system uses the entry with DOG/Blank to find OUTB, that seems to be an error. But how is the delivery type determination in ERP set up? (IMG: Logistics Execution --> SAP EWM Integration --> Production Planning and Control --> Define Delivery Type Determination)

Hi Jürgen,

I assume it is this table. ps-customizing-1.png

I think it is the code initiator. When I add the entry DOG / PSD ==> OPS I get an Outboud delivery order with OPS. Whey I delete it again and maintain DOG/PSP ==> TPS I get an outbound delivery with document type OUTB, so it takes the entry DOG/BLANK ==> OUTB.

Does it help?

Hi,

if you have two storage locations connected with the same warehouse number, yes, in ERP you have an outbound delivery for the staging, which should convert into a posting change in EWM.

I guess you have to show a little bit more information to find the issue.

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!
