EWM - print product label w/out HUs

Hello experts,

business requirement is to print product labels during GR process (GR without HU's!). Label with just few information: product/batch/SLED/etc...

Question is:

1. how to print few labels to one delivery/batch item (for example 10 boxes each 50 pc => 10 labels should be printed. The only option I know is printing from WO - but its possible to achive that?

2. do you know any standard RFUI transaction for GR process without HUs?

Hi Mark, If we talk about standard.

1. Somehow system should know how to split quantities, in case in delivery you have 50pc. System should understand that this is not 50pc, but 10 boxes 5pc each. If it is possible system can round quantities to 1 box, and you get 10 warehouse tasks, and you can get 10 warehouse orders for this. And you can print 10 labels, one from every order.

But it make no sense if quantity is moved as single quant (50pc in one target bin). In such case it is much easier (or let's say much process friendly) to solve with development, which print needed amount of labels at required point in time. It can be done with PPF for warehouse order or with RFUI transaction directly, for example with Goods Receipt.

2. I do not know standard RFUI transaction to perform goods receipt without HUs. You can create HU in the WE dialogue, but if it is a simple processes in the warehouse and HUs are not required it would be better to develop RFUI transaction which will perform GR and printout so as required. If someone would like to go with standard and with manual process, my suggestion would be to create HU with quantity which can be putted away in a single movement. e.g. 2 Boxes in one pallet.
