EWM - Posting change with Serial Numbers

Hello Gurus,

I´m facing an issue with embedded EWM:

For example, for a material with B (Warehouse number level) serial number management, I use MIGO for 322 movement (Unr. to Quality) and I enter the desired SN in MIGO tab, ERP delivery is created with SN as well, and distributed.

The problem is that in EWM delivery type TWPR, the serial number is no longer inherited... so in EWM I can finish the process but without Serial Numbers and therefore I lost the trace of this SN.

My question is: Is this behavior the standard one? Should the system inherit SN from S4 to EWM?

Yes it is an standard behavior SAP EWM to inherit serial number from SAP S/4HANA when serial number is activated in SAP EWM the system can receive and store serial number from S4HANA.

It is also important to ensure that master data and transactions involving the serial numbers are consistently maintained in both systems.

The problem is that in this exact process (transfer posting) the Serial Number are NOT inherited. I mean they are NOT transfered from S4 to EWM.

But If I do a normal outbound delivery or a normal Inbound delivery, the serial numbers are transfered from S4 to EWM and thats OK.
