EWM : POSC Inbound Door determination using HU Type Issue

Hi All,

I am using POSC set up for Inbound Delivery processing which uses rule based Door Determination. 

I have maintained WH process Type + Door Det Grp + HU Type in  /SCWM/STADET_IN  and marked corresponding columns  /SCWM/STADET_ASS .

However, door determinitations does not return any results. If we remove HU Type from /SCWM/STADET_IN and de-seect  the same in  /SCWM/STADET_ASS, it works as expected. 

After debugging the issue with door determinations using  WH process Type + Door Det Grp + HU Type we get to know that TU is checked against Delivery when it is distributed in EWM.

If TU is assigned then only HU details are fetched and used in determination logic. Currently HU is assigned to IBD but not considered in door determinations because TU check in standard.

Can anyone please suggest how can we make it work without TU or is there any workaround possible.

Yes, these fields are only used in the determination if you use the TU based transportation integration. And then it is the HU type which is assigned to the packaging material of the TU.

The standard does not use the packaging information at all.  You might find a BAdI to influence the determination using the HU from the PDI.
