Hi,
I have a question on picking.
We have two storage locations, one for storing material which is SLA and one for e-stock materials which is used to send material to customer SLB.
Now I have a storage type which is linked to SLA, and we deliver to customer from SLB. Sales order is always created with SLB, my question is that I have a material which is at SLA, how can I move the material to SLB, or how picking can be executed from SLA and all outbound activities will happen in SLB?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi,
a storage type is never connected to a storage location, what you can do is to set up a storage type that all products in there must belong to a specific storage location (by entering an availability group and setting the flag "mandatory").
If you have products in the stock for one storage location A but your warehouse request requires stock from another storage location, you can use the stock determination to use stock from A (https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_ON-PREMISE/9832125c23154a179bfa1784cdc9577a/98cdcb53ad377114e10000000a174cb4.html).

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!
