EWM outbound delivery order status update

Hi team

I have an STO delivery created and distributed to EWM. The ODO was created and picking confirmed in EWM, however the ODO status still shows picking not started although warehouse order is confirmed with multiple WT's. The issue is that now the stock in no more required by the requesting warehouse and therefore no need to issue STO quantities. PGI is not complete and therefore would like to issue zero PGI to close this order.

When cancelling picking system issue an error message that picking cancellation not possible as WT already confirmed whwreas the ODO still shows picking not started. To me it seems there is a broken link in ODO header status update. Please help provide a solution. From my experience I know that confirmed picking cannot be cancelled and I am happy with that, but why ODO says picking not started? this prevent us even to do PGI of the full quantities and says no items available.

If required I will collect screenshots from the user with exact error messages for each step executed. Please help. Also note this is a custom delivery order type OZNL.
