I need to insert a new document under reference document in ODO item level. to hold externally created document reference.
Trying to use class: /SCDL/CL_SP_PRD_OUT and a method: INS_ITEM_REFDOC. ( instantaneous and protected). It is totally restricted to use in our Z program. (BADI). I have created a global subclass 'Z' inheriting from /SCDL/CL_SP_PRD_OUT. Unfortunately, the method can not be redefined.
Please advise how can we use the method INS_ITEM_REFDOC OR any alternative solution other than directly insert the DB table '/SCDL/DB_REFDOC'.
