EWM - Limit number of HUs in bin

Hi everyone,

I would like to ask your help on set limit to number of HUs in bin. Business case: While putaway, system should check the HU limit and based on that bin must be determined for subsequent WTs.

I have done the following config:

1 - Capacity check in st.type (2) - Key figure pack.material

2 - Assign capacity usage 1 to pack.material in mm02

3 - At bin level, insert maximum capacity 2

4- Bin-sorting is correct

However, still system is creating all warehouse tasks for 1st Bin and capacity check is not working.

you can set Max HUs, why you need to use Capacity for this?

you are right, I thought somehow it is a bin attribute or at least bin type attribute.

Anyhow, with Capa, do you have Capa in your warehouse task? Do you have Capa usage in the HU? is it written there?

I would start check with this. if it is not there you can try to maintain it and check if it would work.

If you updated your packmat before you created HUs maybe it is not recalculated.
