Hi All,

i have activated the LM in SAP EWM , and set the internal process & external Process .

However under /n/scmb/Prr1- i am unable to assign User name & personnel number as its in Display mode.

also when i do the "Start WO" while Putaway, the check box LM ACTIVE is not checked .

anything missing ?

Hi Preeti,

for me those 2 steps were enough to activate LM.

After this, all WO's started to require processor's name etc.

But you surely did this.. 😉

You then need to create Processor in transaction BP:

And assign it to EWM user (as Juergen suggested) in monitor:

Hi Juergen,

Yes you are right, we have S4 hana 1909 activated , also the internal steps are active and External process are set up and Deactivation check box is unchecked .

i will check the warehouse mgmt monitor and let you know.

also LM active - check box is not active in warehouse order screen under /n/scwm/prdi

Let's say, the description is a little big vague... You activate LM for internal process steps. You deactivate it for external process steps, to fine tune LM. So what exactly have have you activated, deactivated, and what process step is in your WO?

Got an S/4HANA system? Yes, in a new S/4HANA the assignment of the user has to be done in the warehouse management monitor. I don't think the assignment of the HR personal number is possible at all anymore, only in the upload this seems to work. Details are described in the SAP note 2570961 - Simplification item S4TWL - Business User Management.
