Hello,
I have a question regarding the Kit to Order Kit Header in the EWM process.
My understanding is that this Kit Header is only virtual and not real stock.
This cause in our process some issues, so that we can't consolidate different products within a handling unit where a Kit to order item is in. Also in the transfer to ERP the handling units only consists the componentes and not the header.
Is there a way with customizing or an enhancements or anything else to get the Kit to order Header as real stock?
Thanks!
Best regards,
Sarina

Hi,
first thanks for the quick response.
I try to describe the consolidation a little bit more detailed.
Usually we have an outbpund delivery with several items, this means multiple KTO items as well as items, which are already on stock.
At the outbound packaging bench we usually pack the items together in one dispatch HU, if the quantity is not a full pallet.
Currently we are facing the issue that at the GI posting, it is not possible because the error message says the KTO Header is not packed completly. I assume the reason is that at the GI posting the System do a quantity correlation check between the KTO-components to the KTO-Header which Fails because in the same handling unit are several other items.
Hope this describes the issue better. Is there a way how to process this Kind of consolidated handling Units?
The second question how can I set up that the KTO Header is temporarily posted GR and at the same time GI? Is this visible then in the ERP System?
Thanks and best regards,
Sarina

Hi,
maybe you can describe a little bit more what your problem is?
There is a goods receipt posting for the Kit-to-order Header product (it can be set up this way) - but this is at the same moment as the goods issue posting. So you will never have visible stock. But what do you want to "consolidate"?

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!
