EWM Inbound Delivery - Update Qty of a Serialized material

I have a requirement to update the quantity of a EWM Inbound Delivery along with delete the serial # which are not required. 

I tried to find a SAP Class that could do this, but could not. So debugged the standard and found the methods

Class /SCD/CL_SP_PRD_IB => /SDL/IF_SP1_ASPECT_UPDATE method along with 

Class SCW/CL_SP_DR_INB =>/SMB/IF_SP_ASPECT~DELETE which SAP is using. But I tried to use the same together to perform the requirement. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated. 

I followed the below post and am able to update the quantity of a normal material, but I need to do the same for Serialized material.
