Hello, Gurus.
We have an SAP system setup where ECC is connected to both EWM and GTS. We are working to connect EWM to GTS and have run into complications with Business Partners.
Currently, ECC and EWM share the same Customer numbers, but the ECC and GTS configuration is to create a separate GTS Business Partner number with reference to the external ECC Customer / Vendor numbers.
The EWM to GTS connections have all been set up and all configuration for Doc Types, Org Units, etc. is complete. Outbound Deliveries Orders from EWM are being mapped and received in GTS with the error message 'No customs business partner exists for partner #####'. We have confirmed that the Business Partners in question do in fact exist in GTS, but as external references.
It appears that EWM is expecting GTS to be synced one-for-one to the ECC partners instead of using the ECC partner as an external reference.
Has anyone run into this issue before?
I have been searching for a configuration option in both EWM and GTS to set the EWM partner as an external reference like ECC, but no luck.
Is there maybe a BAdI available that can be used to call the GTS Business Partner cross-reference tables during document mapping?
Thank you and looking forward to any assistance advise!
Don Dwyer
