EWM Good Receipt Posting - INV20006 Error

Hi Team,

We have integrated SAP DMC to SAP EWM system and when we are trying to post the GR request to EWM system using DMC service - We are getting HTTP400 - INV20006 error. please refer the below screenshot. 

When we try to pack the HU using packing unit plugin - it generate the EWM GR request automatically without any issue. 

@Manoel - Can you please suggest if you have any insights on this?

In the screenshot, the error message indicates that the stock already exists. Since we don't know the previous steps of the EWM GR in the PP, if there had SFC complete, you can refer to the reason provided in Question 2 of this SAP Note:

Alternatively, you can use the Packing Service, which follows the same logic as the Packing Unit Plug-in.

Thank you @carol_cai for the information.

We have added the DisableGR=True for the yield confirmation so that GR should not post when SFC complete. 

So in this case, when we try to post the EWM GR again using POST GOOD RECEIPT service, it should work without any issue. but it does not.

Also, when we use the Packing Unit plugin and pack the HU, it creates the EWM GR request automatically without any issue. (even after SFC completed) but when we try to pack the HU using PPD (using close packing unit service), then it does not create the EWM GR request and that's why we are trying to post it again using POST GR service in PPD but there also getting error as stock is already available.

Sorry, just found that the packing service can't trigger GR to EWM.

About the DisableGR=True setting in the yield confirmation Collaboration Directive, it just means DM won't send GR to CPI in the integration. It can't block DM to create stock when SFC complete. 

Which service did you use in the PP, is it SFC complete? Did you ever try the service of quantity confirmation?

Hi @carol_cai, For SFC Complete we are using the Complete Plugin directly from the POD. It is wired that if we pack the HU using Packing List Plugin, it trigger the GR to EWM but it is not when using the packing service from PPD. Do you have any alternate solution on this? I tried EWM GR posting service but that is also throwing error as stock is available. any other options may be? Thanks in advance.

If the SFC is confirmed through SFC complete service or plug-in, it looks so far packing on packing plug-in is the only approach to trigger EWM GR.

If the SFC is confirmed through quantity confirmation, you can use EWM GR service.
