EWM - entitled to dispose not allowed in tcode /scwm/psastage

Hello,

I'm setting up a new WH on embedded 2020 and are having some struggles with the /scwm/psastage transaction.
When Entering the entitled to dispose I get an error message that it's not allowed in the WH.

I have maintained the plant in stock transfer order, maintained BP with customer and vendor. Assigned entitled to dispose to supply chain unit etc

I'm allowed to extend a material in /scwm/mat1 with said entitled to dispose but not in /scwm/psastage.
Any suggestions here on why /scwm/psastage is beeing difficult?

Best Regards

Peder

Hello,

Please check below points

1- A unique BP should be assigned to your plant. you can check that by assigning plant to any other BP in BP transaction. S4 HANA 2020s check the duplicate assignment by looking into the table T001W once you try to assign plant to a BP .

2- What F4 options you see for the party entitled to dispose field?

You may have BP assigned as vendor and customer to plant , but party entitled to dispose definition may not be complete even after this assignment is updated in T001W.

3- Please must check the mapping table /SCWM/TMAPSTLOC. if this table is done then you can see entitled to dispose list in F4 .

I will mark this as the anwer since it Aslam mentioned the tcode /SCWM/TMAPSTLOC here. The issue was that the tcode is setup as a transportable configuration step, but the logical system does not change in each client. In reality you would either have to enter in all the client combinations in the tcode or open up the tcode for editing in each of the clients and add the values with correct logical system there.

Hello,

Thank you for your replies, I actually get the correct entidled to dispose when hitting F4, but when I select it it stops with the error message. As far as I understand /SCWM/TMAPSTLOC should not be necessarry on embedded ewm. And has not been maintained in the other WH. I can see that in the T001W-IWERK (maintenance planning plant) there are some duplicates that we will remove, but not sure if that is impacting.

Hello,

Below interface customizing maintains entries in table /SCWM/TMAPSTLOC. This is a MUST regardless of it is embedded EWM or decentralized EWM.

Without this customizing, you won't be able to do any stock movement or create any transactional data. I don't understand how your warehouses are running w/o mapping EWM stock types (Availability group) to ERP storage locations.

ok- no worries.

There is something wrong with your plant and BP assignment.

Please set a break point in below method and check what is missing for you. This is very small part of code. Developer will be quickly able to tell you what is not setup correctly.

Please post the finding so that we will be also knowing .

Hi Again Arslam,

Had a session with a Developer. Seems like the logical system in /SCWM/TMAPSTLOC remained as the dev system and not in test. Do you know if the logical system is supposed to be updated when moved to a new client or will it just transport the existing information.
As I see it you can either:
a: add the value for all logical systems in the config and transport

B: open up the element in the client and edit it

normally this table is one of the cut-over activity that we need to do when planning go live with EWM system.

We request system to be open for doing such of cut over activity.

Please open the system and edit this, as you need to have correct entries in DEV,Q and P all 3 systems.

Hi Peder,

without having a specific answer for you yet, I recommend looking at this thread where a similar problem is discussed. Perhaps you'll already find useful hints there:
