Hi Friends,
In PP production orders, the material created can be assigned an integer serial number (ANZSN) , unique at the material-plant level. This is different from a batch (CHARG).
Is the serial number recorded in EWM when the production order is completed and passed to EWM?
In which table or transaction code allows one to display the serial numbers of materials in EWM storage bin?
Thanks,
John Hawk

Hi John,
I believe you need serial number profile C (Serial Numbers in Inventory Management) to fulfill your requirement.
You can check it in /SCWM/MON transaction, as mentioned by Eszter, and in DB table /SCWM/SERI.

Hi John,
I believe there is not a relationship between them. For 'C' serialization (SN in Inventory Management level), the SN entered when receiving this stock from a PDI or ProdOrd will be connected to that specific stock. That means in /SCWM/SERI you will have the exact location and stock inside EWM, i.e. the GUID_PARENT (which can be an HU or storage bin) + GUID_STOCK, and DOCCAT + DOCID + ITEMID (in case this stock belongs to a delivery, e.g. PDI or PDO).
Best regards,
Luan
You are right! There is no relationship.
The MPE_SFI table contains the Material/ (Equipment) Serial Number (GENNR/SERNO) / Production order relationship.
It appears that (Equipment) Serial Number (GENNR/SERNO) purpose has expand to more than equipment serial number uses.
The ANZSN Serila appears to be valid only in the PP module.
I ended up needing (Equipment) Serial Number (GENNR/SERNO).

Dear John,
I would check on /SCWM/MON - Stock and Bin - Physical Stock with button ' Serial Number'.
Does this resolve your request?
