Hi All,
We have a requirement to change the availability group and stock type of the existing system i.e all the stock in the existing system stock type to be changed to new stock type as per the naming. The Business wants to follow some naming convention inorder to sync with their new rollouts so that all the storage locations/availability group and stock types are properly aligned.
We can change the stock type and availability groups at configuration level. My question is: Is there any impact due to this change? Do we have any mass transaction to change the stock type also expecting not to trigger any postings back to ECC.
Thank You your inputs
Krishna

Hi Anese,
Thank You. I am able to solve this. I used one dummy availability group and dummy stock type as intermittent before I actually changed the stock type to final stock type which is needed for client. Testing is going on. So far could not find any issues.
Thanks
Krishna

Hi Krishna,
Please be very careful as Its a Standard table and has major Impacts
1.What should be the stock type when a delivery is flown into the system and to what it should be determined (Maintain this in excel)
2.The changes has to be captured in 2 transport requests the first one to be deleted and the second one to update
Request you not try by mass change,
Regards,
Anese Khan
