I have configured an embedded EWM warehouse with several storage locations of two plants.
Like in other installations before, i assigned the relevant combinations of plant/storage location to according availability groups and defined the matching stock types for these groups.
My problem is, that in opposite to the situation of several storage locations of one plant in the warehouse there is no automatic stock movement of type 301 in IM.
When moving stock from a storage type, that is assigned to an availability group for plant A, to a storage type, that is assigned to an availability group for plant B, i get an error /scwm/erpintegration 105.
The system probably assumes that the partner entitled in EWM, which is mapped in the business partner using a plant assignment, is retained as a stock attribute. It uses the key plant/warehouse number/availability group to search for the assigned storage location in the interface table.
I expected access via warehouse number/availability group and correspondingly a determination of plant and storage location. This behavior leads to errors in the interface EWM => ERP as the system doesn't find a matching record in the interface table.
The one-step stock transfers between the plants and adhoc stock transfers via scanner i.e. are probably not possible in this way. An essential advantage of a common warehouse number for two plants is thus lost.
Is there really no way to solve this problem?
Best Regards
Peter
Request clarification before answering.
Hi,
I also never tried this, but this is the same issue as described here: https://answers.sap.com/questions/13450800/automatic-plant-to-plant-posting-for-goods-movemen.html#.
And as Daniil describes it, the possible way would be to use /SCWM/POST with the creation of a WT for the physical movement together with the posting change.

Hi both,
sorry for my late response.
Unfortunately there is no solution for this in SAP standard.
I did some debugging at that time and the restriction is due to the programming and the structure of the IM/EWM-interface table, where the plants/storage locations are matched to the warehouse numbers and availability groups.
Sorry for not having better news.
Kind regards
Peter

Hi both,
We currently have the same problem in our implementation. We can manually post the stock from one plant to another with /SCWM/POST.
But we would like to automatically change the plant with the stock movement from one storage type to another (destination storage type has mandatory availability group).
Thanks in advance for any help!
Kind regards,
Christian

Hi Peter,
I would be interested in exactly the same question. Have you found a solution for your problem already?
Thanks and kind regards
Michael
