EWM automatic generate packaging items

Dear EWM expert,

I activated BC set /SCWM/DLV_OUTBOUND_PACK in order to determine packaging items (with item types OPHU) => This works fine, additional items are created.

My issue is the Following: OPHU item type consume packaging stock quantity. My Customer requirement is to have packaging not managed in stock. the packaging item determination purpose is only to create item in SD delivery in order to bill this packaging to the Customer invoice.

How can I make item OPHU not relevant for Goods issue in EWM ?

FYI: We do not manage finished goods stock with HU.

Hi Berenger,

Did you try to customize own Pack type which not relevant for GI ? ( Guess Status, Process Profile ...need to change )

And Configure in SPRO->EWM-> Goods Issue Automatically Generate Packaging Items

Enhancement Spot /SCWM/ES_DLV_PACK_ITEM is validation the above config.
