Hi experts,
We are using batch managed products so cross-order staging is not an option while creating a production order.
Is it possible to perform replenishment based on single order staging? if I maintain the master data in /SCWM/PSASTAGE?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi,
"We are using batch managed products so cross-order staging is not an option while creating a production order."
Why not?
It depends on where you do a batch determination. In case you have no batch determination from the production order, the system can do a cross-order staging. With advanced production integration it is also not really an issue, if you post GI as you are supposed to do, in EWM.
When the production order determines a batch, the system should automatically do a single order staging, AFAIK even if you control cycle in EWM is set up for cross order staging.

All the above is no official SAP statement.

Check for EWM courses: https://training.sap.com/trainingpath/Applications-Extended+Warehouse+Management-EWM+in+S4HANA

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

Hi,
according the documentation: (https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_ON-PREMISE/9832125c23154a179bfa1784cdc9577a/5c9eeb535cbb5d1ee10000000a441470.html)
"
EWM uses the batch or the batch selection criteria to ensure that you use a batch that fulfills the requirements transferred from SAP ERP.
You can display the batch data in EWM, but you cannot change it.
For PMRs that contain batches or batch selection criteria, the system uses the staging method single-order staging only, to ensure that each manufacturing order gets a batch that fits to its requirements."
